Estan abiertas las siguientes convocatorias (Acciones Marie Curie) para fomentar la movilidad y formación de los investigadores:
- FP7-PEOPLE-2007-2-1-IEF Convocatoria de Becas Marie Curie Intraeuropeas. Dirigida a investigadores europeos para que lleven a cabo su investigación en otra institución europea durante 1-2 años. *
- FP7-PEOPLE-2007-4-1-IOF Convocatoria de Becas Marie Curie Internacionales de salida a Terceros Países. Dirigida a investigadores europeos para que lleven a cabo su investigación durante 1-2 años en otra institución no europea. *
- FP7-PEOPLE-2007-4-2-IIF Convocatoria de Becas Marie Curie Internacionales para Terceros Países. Dirigida a investigadores no europeos para que lleven a cabo su investigación en una institución europea durante 1-2 años.

Me parece muy acertado y positivo tanto la existencia de estas becas como su promoción en Mujer y Ciencia, desde este blog se está llevando a cabo una labor de información realmente interesante que he recomendado fervientemente a mis compañeros dedicados a la ciencia que tengan la inquietud de saber más o informarse de becas, conferencias o cursos.
Dicho esto, sin embargo debo añadir que en muchas ocasiones las becas son insuficientes y la información que proporcionan las autoridades aún más. Es muy común descubrir una beca cuando el plazo ya está cerrado. Aún así, todos los proyectos, sobre todo aquellos destinados a la movilidad internacional deberían ser aprovechados por todo aquel -que en primer lugar descubra la beca- que tenga interés en progresar en su carrera.
Habiendo cursado un año en el extranjero, no puedo más que recomendar a todo estudiante que cruce las fronteras para mejorar su formación. En el marco de la Unión Europea, y en el contexto de la globalización, los jóvenes universitarios españoles no competimos con aquellos de la provincia de al lado, sino que tendremos que competir con suecos, ingleses y por qué no, con candienses o chinos. La experiencia y formación que se adquiere en el extranjero es muy valorada a la hora de buscar y encontrar un puesto de trabajo acorde con las necesidades de hoy en día, además de la visión cosmopolita e internacional que se adquiere.
Por todo ello, bien recibidos sean todos los proyectos de caracter internacional.
